Statistical modeling used to calculate the COVID-19 Vulnerability Index is provided by Conduent Data and Analytic Innovations. Conduent’s Data & Analytics Innovations Lab delivers Data and Analytics as a Service [DaaS/AaaS] predictive solutions across all levels of the commercial healthcare ecosystem.
This website was created to help locate and assist populations that may be at risk of not having basic needs met due to COVID-19 stay-at-home orders. The maps show the count rather than percent of the population to give a sense of the number of people who may be impacted in each area.
Where is the data from?
Data shown is from U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey from the most recent measurement period, 2014-2018. The five-year rate was used for the most stable estimates at the census tract level.
Can I see a map of the whole country?
Our maps are shown by state or regions to assist with local response efforts in a variety of ways. Response teams can link to pages that are most relevant to their efforts.
